Our materials

Polypropylene, one of the materials we most commonly use in Euro Seating, is considered ‘an ecological plastic’, as it is an innovative, adaptable material, pioneering in terms of economic, ecological and social progress.
In Euro Seating, we manufacture over 80% of our seats and components by injection of polypropylene, polyamide, polystyrene, polyethylene and polypropylene with fibre, due to the huge advantages these offer compared to other materials. We have over 100 of our own moulds for working with this material and we have an injection plant over 2000 square metres in size with the latest advances in machinery and technology.

Plastic is an extraordinary material on which hospitals, aircraft or communication systems, among others, depend; it is malleable and light and a material which when used in products with a long life is considered an invention of great value.

Advantages:

Thanks to polypropylene, in Euro Seating we can design seats which would be impossible to make with other materials. As well as plastic injection, in Euro Seating we also work with the blown film technique for models such as the ES 500 seat for example.

We use this material for its versatility. All the wood we use for our seats comes from sustainable sources. In Euro Seating, we mainly work with beech, due to its hardness and excellent performance with all kinds of finishes. We have a wood technology centre where we mainly produce some of our seats for theatres and concert halls.

In those products where it is necessary we use carbon steel in 3 finishes:

Galvanized
Zinc-plated
